Urbaneight operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services in order to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping experience (the “Services”). Urbaneight is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.

The below terms and conditions, together with any policies referenced herein—including our Refund Policy and Privacy Policy—describe your rights and responsibilities when you use the Services. By visiting or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Note: Urbaneight is an online specialist and does not have a physical retail location or showroom. All interactions and transactions occur exclusively through our online platform.

SECTION 1 - ACCESS AND ACCOUNT

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your country or province of residence. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You represent that all information provided (email, billing, shipping) is correct and complete.

SECTION 2 - OUR PRODUCTS & HARDWARE

We make every effort to display product colors and images accurately. However, hardware (such as SUPs, boards, and bikes) and technical gear may have slight variations. We do not warrant that the quality of any products will meet your expectations perfectly. All product descriptions are subject to change without notice.

SECTION 3 - ORDERS & RETURNS

Urban Eight reserves the right to accept or decline your order for any reason. Your order is not accepted until we confirm acceptance and process payment.

Return Policy: Your purchases are subject to return or exchange solely in accordance with our Refund Policy. This includes specific conditions for sports hardware (e.g., depreciation fees for used items) and hygiene restrictions.
Commercial Use: Purchases are for personal use only and not for commercial resale.

SECTION 4 - PRICES, BILLING & SUSTAINABILITY

Prices are subject to change without notice. Posted prices do not include taxes, shipping, or customs charges unless stated otherwise.

Sustainability Contribution: In line with our commitment to the environment, a €2.99 sustainability contribution is applied to each return shipment. This fee is non-refundable and will be deducted from your total refund to offset the carbon footprint and operational impact of the return process.
Accuracy: You agree to provide current and accurate purchase information. We are not liable for transaction failures due to incorrect data provided by you.

SECTION 5 - SHIPPING, DELIVERY & RETURN RISK

We are not liable for shipping delays caused by carriers or customs.

Shipping Threshold: Free standard shipping is offered on orders above €100. If a partial return causes the remaining order value to drop below €100, the original shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.
Risk of Loss: Once we transfer products to the carrier, risk of loss passes to you. For return shipments, the risk of loss or damage remains entirely with the consumer until the package is successfully received and inspected by Urbaneight. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping method.
No Physical Drop-offs: As we do not have a physical shop, returns cannot be hand-delivered. All returns must be shipped to our designated return address.

SECTION 6 - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content, logos, and designs are owned by Urbaneight or its licensors. You may not reproduce or redistribute any materials from our Services without prior written consent.

SECTION 7 - THIRD-PARTY LINKS & TOOLS

We may provide access to third-party tools (like payment providers or tracking apps) "as is." We are not liable for any issues arising from your use of these optional third-party services.

SECTION 8 - ERRORS AND OMISSIONS

Occasionally, there may be typographical errors or inaccuracies related to pricing or descriptions. We reserve the right to correct these and cancel orders if inaccurate information was provided, even after an order has been submitted.

You may not use our Services for any unlawful purpose, to infringe on intellectual property, or to transmit malicious code. We reserve the right to terminate your access for any violation of these prohibited uses.

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts in the jurisdiction where Urbaneight is headquartered.
